This album was finally re-released as a CD by Islandport Press a few years ago, and thus completes the re-publication of what we have come to call the "Original Abums" of Bert and I––all of them still funny after all these years! In BERT AND I STEM INFLATION, which first came out in the late 1970s, the caretaker has "No News," we get attached to "The Pet Turkey," a preacher gives his congregation "The Whole Load," and "Lewis Bayard and the Judge" have a conversation in court. We hear about an old man's morning routine in "Frost, You Say?" and listen in on a short conversation between a Texas rancher and a Maine farmer. That's just a few of the 22 stories that'll make you smile, chuckle, and laugh out loud.
