First released as an LP in the early 1960's, MORE BERT AND I gave Americans another dose of funny Down East stories. In the title story, the two lobstermen have a wacky adventure aboard The Bluebird II, complete with fantastic mouth-made sound effects. We hear about a silent plane ride at the Skowhegan Fair (also with great sound effects), and get to know Virgil Bliss and Harry Whitfield better. Stories like "Not Just Yet," "The Punt," and "Kinda Poorly" are the epitome of bone-dry New England humor.
